The Vintage Verandah

Natural Beauty

We have been busy bees around The Vintage Verandah lately. Whether it be out salvaging, picking or now harvesting for our newest adventure of wreath making! We definitely feel like we were meant to be out gathering beautiful, naturally existing elements to create beautiful art for you. Whether you are gifting them, dressing your front door or just needing to add some natural beauty and warmth to your space, wreaths are so versatile.  Not just for indoor use either, why not add them to your garden shed or fence post? Don’t let working with a larger outdoor space be intimidating, start with a small area or vignette and work from there. Incorporating height (like ladders or trellises)and variety just like you would in your indoor space.IMG_5993

We spent a day last week enjoying the amazing warmth of the sun, surrounded by the beauty of the Water Valley area & goats! Lots of Goats!! Our sidekicks (my daughter’s Megan & Samantha) were in heaven spending time with these week old babes, even getting to hold one that had just been born the day before.

It was very tempting to just bring a couple home & that may still happen because they were so fun to be around! In the meantime Caroline & I are busy enjoying our new pastime of wreath making. There will always be a supply of these handmade beauties in the store. Made with what is available seasonly…..from pussy willow & fall foliage to Christmas greenery. Your front door or fireplace can be dressed beautifully year round!
